Free Personality Test – For You and Your Staff

Sometimes understanding who you are helps who you need to become – or where you need to be.
In the late 90’s, while taking a finance class in Texas, I was given my first ‘personality’ test. It was a well known Meyers-Briggs test, consisting of pages and pages of questions. The next day, as we were all waiting attentively for our results, the speaker, test results in hand, started walking around the room, giving his well rehearsed speech. And then, out of nowhere (or was I just day dreaming?) He pointed directly at me and shouted “And YOU! You! are a power hose on full force… with absolutely NO direction!!!”
I was numb, but that one statement left an impression like no other. I was dynamic, powerful, intelligent! I was the ultimate go-getter! I had absolutely no idea of who I was or what to do with it!
This class led me to do much research on myself, my business model of finance and my personal life. The test, the class and the speaker were at a cost in the thousands, but money well spent. Ever since I’ve always wanted to take a test again, to see who I am, where I should direct this dynamic energy… I found this test that, while not nearly as comprehensive as the Meyers-Briggs, has proven to be accurate in every case study we’ve done. It may give you a direction, it may help you understand a staff member – and why they just don’t make a good hostess (they’re an INTROVERT!) Sometimes its not the wrong person, its just the wrong position.
